Jesus is love. He came to save me, to have mercy on me, to give me grace, and to love me.
I grew up going to church all of my life. I have always believed in Jesus but I don't think I really loved him with everything I have- with all of my heart and my soul.
It was not until I was a teenager that I experienced Jesus move within me.
I worked at a food bank one summer and helped others gather food and supplies for their families. I loved on them with kind eyes and grace full in my heart. I loved those people and cared for them.
My eyes were open to how Jesus looks at me. He has kind eyes for me. His heart is full of grace and mercy for me. He takes me in like his child and he gives me love. He truly cares for me and takes care of me. He provides me with every single thing I could ever need.
All though my short life I have search for the meaning of life. Searched for what fulfills the heart.
Jesus is love. Jesus gives me everything I need. He fulfills my heart.
Once I learned who Jesus was I could understand how important it is to follow him.
I am his disciple. I am his follower. Following Jesus is the absolutely best choice. There is nothing better. There is no better answer.
He is the light.
We must follow the light. We must obey him.
Whenever I am faced with a hard choice or a fork in the road I know I MUST pick his path. Even if that path is rocky and it his hard I must take his path.
Why?
Jesus will honor you if you obey him. If you trust him and you trust his ways then he promises to give you life. He promises to rescue you and to save you. He promises to give you everything that you could every need in life. He promises to protect you. Whether that be food, shelter, health, or protection for your family, or maybe a loving heart.
Jesus will give you every single thing that you need in life.
He has already given me so much.
